2/3A Battery Packs

So I kind of screwed up when I ordered replacement batteries for my 1/8 starter box and ordered 2/3A 1600mah nimh packs. My starter box uses 2 1/10 scale brushed motors around 23 turn and each battery powers its own motor and is currently being powered by 2 1500 mah nicad batteries. My question is: Will these smaller packs work for the starter box? Should I start the return process with hobbyparts and exchange + 4 bucks for 2000 mah regular C size nimh packs or will there be little to no difference?

Return them you will have headaches and can't return after use. Get lipos for about same price and last all day no issues.can get gens ace from rcx nitro for around 25-30ea
