Well I finally gave in and got a good soldering station and will be retiring the 80 watt Weller work horse. I have been in the market for a new solder station for a long time now since my old Weller station took a poop years ago. After using Doug's Hakko at the Motown Showdown I decided it was time. But I didn't want to spend $90 on one.

Searched the net and found this baby.

http://www.web-tronics.com/csi-station-60w.html

Its on sale for a few more days for only $29.95. I ordered mine with 2 wider tips as the included one is very very small. Tips are only $4.95. Its regular price is still only $37.95. New irons if you even need one are only $15.95.

I'll see how its quality is over time, but it seams well built.

I have used it already and it heats up SUPER quick. Adjustable from 400-900 degrees. Its got a red LED that lights when its heating up to the temp you set, shuts off when at temp. 60 watt stations are hard to come by at this price. Just thought I would spread the word if anyone else is in the market for a good solder station that wont break the bank. The company is in Arizona so shipping wasn't too bad and kinda quick.

Been totally happy so far. Heats up as fast as a Hakko, 60 watt stations of this quality are not found for $30. Quality seams really good so far.

I bought this tip at the same time, this is the tip I us....

Think I bought this one also but haven't used it yet....

The tip it comes with is too small for what we use irons for.

Chris I think shipping was like $10-$12 and it took 3-4 days.
