Found my next project.

http://chuckworksrc.com/Slice_B.php

They just released it. A lot has been cut off of the bottom chassis to reduce weight. Will use the parts off my mid-engine one to put it together. So it will be a pretty cheap project.

Found this as an alternative to the Pro-Line tranny....

Just the composite case and aluminum motor mount, uses all stock gears.

That case looks nice. Are you going to pick one up?

Opened up my fastlane dif last night and it wa about 1/4 filled with dif oil. Guess it was leaking more then I thought. Had some 5k laying there so I filled it with that. If it doesn't all leak out will see how that works.

Yeah I got used to the Traxxas ball diff in stock, but it didnt like the D3 10.5 I put in it yesterday.

I used to like the FLM diff but after I put it back in yesterday, didnt like it as much as the ball. It might be that I have too thick of oil in it though.

Still waiting for MIP to release there new Slash ball diff.

Would like to get the Hot Racing case and plate just for the heat sink characteristic of the plate and use the MIP ball diff in it or even stock diff.

You can get it for the same price on Ebay, but with free shipping. Save a couple of dollars.
Looks like the same seller same location.

Curious about rear bumper mounting. Hopefully better then pro-lines.

Selling the "other" Slash, keeping the original one. Its my sons and our project truck. Most likely wont ever get rid of it.

You already know I want a FTSC10.  Slap!

Don't think that I will be getting one. Maybe in about December for a cold day project.

Was looking at the cost of building a Pro-Line slash
all prices from Stormer
Chassis                99.95
Transmission       88.95
Shocks                97.90
Bell crank           23.95
Protrac kit          43.95

Total                 354.70

Thats pretty high for a slash without electronics.
