Okay guys as you know or have read the Motown Showdown will be ran on a glued racing surface which will groove up. Your tire choice will not want to be a super soft tire of any sort because the softer the rubber the faster the wear. So hear is my reccomendation run a soft compound tire. I highly reccomend running a rattler or switch type tire if you choose to go with the Panther Tires for this event. Now I will make this very clear, if you are running 4wd beware that your front and rear tires will show wear because you have 4 driving wheels and a ton of power. Those of you running 2wd cars buy a set of the right compound front tire, and an X amount of rears depending on how many you need. Tip for the front tires for 2wd rotate left to right for each run, so if there is any wear you are evening out the wear on each tire.
