Okay so the topic of bigbore spring vs the standard spring on the V2 or V1 AE shocks. I have found it to be a plus and minus to both, but the bigbore springs being easier to drive especially on the rougher  tracks. I feel they absorb the landings, and go through the ruts better but do not have the same responsive feel as the standard spring. Yet this can be fixed by setup change. I am finding setup to be very simaler between the two. If I was to choose between the buggies or 2wd SCT needed this, I would say buggy needs it more. I have always found the SCTs to be very plush as it is with the standard spring but I did try the BBS on the SCT anyways today. Super plush but I did find the truck did lose some of its responsiveness. All in all, the springs in my opinion are well worth it for the buggies, but at this time, I personally do not feel it is a required on the SC10 at least.

If you guys have any questions feel free..

Okay sorry it took so long to see this. Busy day today. I reccomend for springs having both red and orange TLR front BB springs, then white and yellow rear BB springs.

Why when the associated is clearly faster?? Yea the losi is a good car don't get me wrong, but the the B4 is a 9 year old design with small refinements over the years and still manages to win races. Oh and not to mention it has not lost a World Championship since it's release. Not to mention super simple to setup.

I give people a hard time about Associated because it's not a Losi (what I drive). I think every brand has it's pros and cons and that people will choose Associated or Losi just like they do Coke and Pepsi. Personally, I think Associated wins a lot of races because they sponsor the best drivers. Having followed Moto GP and AMA for years I have seen riders switch manufactures all of the time and that bike then becomes the hot bike to get. Drivers win races, not the car.

One last thought... I think it's amazing how "brand loyal" everybody is, when after all of the hop-ups are done, the car no longer resembles how it looked when they bought it. Throw everything on a new chassis with a bunch of RPM parts and is it still an Associated or Losi?

Losi stuff is too price man! I'm happy with my car just wanted to try something different and it seems to be working so I thought I would give it a shot. and besides its only a matter of time before the AE big bores are released. I also wanna strap some horsepower in this thing give mod a try.

I can't wait to check one of these out at my LHS. Personally, I don't like how Associated's SC10 is basically a buggy with a short course truck body thrown on it. I think it's a fragile truck, especially with how jumps are getting bigger and bigger because of LIPO batteries and 4-pole motors. I know a lot of people will disagree with my "fragile" comment, but my first truck was a Slash 4x4 and I'm now driving a Losi SCTE, so I prefer the tough stuff (lol). For the record though, I did own a SC10 for awhile, so I do have some firsthand experience to base my comments on.

But... A lot of people love the SC10 and have had amazing results with it. Associated obviously works well for a lot of people or they would not sell so many and have the good reputation it does.

My friend Steve has your model of buggy, so I know it well. He had a Losi and sold it after a few weeks. He absolutely loves his Associated.

Glad to see you putting Losi stuff on your car to get that world champ to work.  Lips Sealed

Those spring combo are very plush though.
