rsdrake, that would be awesome. I'll probably order one today or tomorrow, but even if I got it today it wouldn't be here in time.

And my 8th buggy needs work, but if there 's gonna be a class, I'm running her the way she is. haha!

No, I haven't removed any of my votes. But it seems I may keep the electronics in the T4. I can only run one 10th scale class, but I voted for two just in case one didn't turn out.

I may be burning the midnight oil to get my 1/8th buggy ready as I have it completely torn down to replace and smooth out parts for a perfect operating beast. lol but the 4x4 sc will be ready to go can't wait for good weather and good people to battle it out with on the track. best part is I get to race against my brother who I beat when we went for practice at delta. oh this should be fun nothing wrong with a little sibling rivalry. lol okay this will be his first real race so of course I beat him in practice but he might surprise me with some more track time. if he can stay consistent and I don't break anything it may be a fun and good race. he has the sc10 4x4 and I'm racing a modified lcg version of the scrt. front end not an issue like the stock trucks so let's see if my hours of r&d and work on this thing make a difference. if not time to get another truck ha ha. I also have another friend who usually races at delta coming out to race against me also. this is going to be fun so have a great night everyone and get those rigs ready for a great day.

It was hotter than I thought it would be, and running two classes is a lot more intense than I thought ti would be. Even still, I had a pretty good time.

Thanks guys, we had a GREAT time, and you guys will be seeing us out there on a regular bases, looking forward to the night racing. Question for you guys....what times should I be looking at before I move myself up to the Open Class? In  the 2 heats I was turning 12 laps I know thats not a blazing pace, but I dont think I would be a hindrance in the Open Class. I would like to move up next time out unless you guys suggest otherwise......
On another note, I almost have my wife talked in to racing too. We actually have another SCTE (back up truck) and if anyone watched Matty out there you see why we have the extra truck! Its amazing how much abuse he dishes out. I keep telling him to go slow, but he only knows one speed.....

Anyway thanks for the warm welcome and see you all Friday!

Ken anyone is free to bump themselves out of Novice as they so choose. MRCR has never really adopted a Novice bump rule. Novice is a class to learn the race program and hone some basic driving skill as well as get comfortable enough to feel like your ready to bump. Some tracks go with the 3 race win rule. This has its good points. If your beating up on the Novice class week in and week out MRCR would hope that you bump yourself with out having to be asked. Yet we like having the Novice class because this is what bring in the new people, which is why MRCR tries not to pressure the issue and most times wait for the driver to make that choice.

I would say if you already want to bump yourself, then your ready and we will be happy to have you.

Getting the ladies into the hobby is kinda hard sometimes. More power to you and her. It would be great to see.
