Sunday June 21st (Fathers day) club race results
Sunday, Mother nature was a little more forgiving on us then our last Sunday club race. Temps were tolerable and the turnout was decent with 20 entries on this Fathers day weekend. We ended up running 3 heats and a main. Thanks goes out to the track rug rats Connor and Bryce for all their help today so the grownups could have an awesome Fathers day. Connor and Bryce helped with some track maintenance as well as pulling double duties on calling a few races so Johnny and Doug could race in the Stock Buggy class. Bryce and Connor both did FANTASTIC jobs on announcing for having nothing more then a crash course on the subject, they both picked it up fast and were eager to help out. This is the kind of stuff that we love to see and what makes this hobby grow. Connor and Bryce are the future of this hobby and we couldn’t be more proud to have them enjoy themselves at Modesto RC Raceway along with all the other kids. Julian stepped up and volunteer turn marshaller many times today as we needed a lot of help in this area do to the lower turnout. And of course thanks to all that came out to race with us today, what a great Fathers day it turned out to be. You all ROCK! We will see you all for round 3 of RC Nights!
