RC Nights Round 5 Results and Points
What an awesome night of racing for round 5 of RC Nights 2016. With 73 entries there was 11 heat races and 3 classes with A and B mains! Due to the large turnout we ran a little past midnight but with the great race directing of Pickle we stayed on a fast pace and nearly made the midnight deadline. Tones of good clean racing and professional attitudes from everyone makes MRCR one of the funnest places to get your RC fix. Shout outs go to Richard W. and John W. for helping with the new LED light replacement. Tobias and Derek with some announcement help for Pickle. Doug Jeff and Gino for track maintenance. Water crew – Doug, Damon, Jeff and I know I’m missing someone, thanks for keeping the traction up all night! As we head into round 6 the points are still very tight across the board. Only 2 more rounds left and the final round is a double points night. Round 6 will be August 13th so mark your calendar and be there for all the exciting action of racing under the lights in Modesto!
